Mr.
Fielder has sixteen years experience in civil
engineering design,
management, and construction of Commercial, Industrial, and
Transportation Projects. His professional experience includes
Master Planning, Project Feasibility Studies, and Site Design.
As a principal/project manager and Commercial Department
head, Mr. Fielder consults with clients to make the best use of
their resources in developing an efficient project. He and his
staff have expertise in completing all phases of a project, from
feasibility and permitting phases through construction and
project closeout.

of Defense Projects
Battle Command Training Center (BCTC)
Ft. Campbell, KY

Civil Designer and Project Manager
for new Battle Command Training Centers at U.S. Army facilities
across the southeastern United States. Projects have ranged in
size and complexity from an eighteen-acre site at Fort Campbell,
Kentucky to a one-acre site at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
Provided complete civil site design packages for contractors at
each location and for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Site
design packages included site layout, site grading, drainage and
erosion control plan, and site utility plan.
Industrial
Rail Spurs
Clarksville, TN 2009
This includes: Avanti Rail Spur and the Industrial Rail
Extension. Avanti Rail Spur included design and placement of
2,437 linear feet of rail spur to the Avanti Manufacturer’s
site. Industrial Rail Extension included the design and
placement of 4,455 linear feet of railroad expansion to the
industrial park.Mr. Fielder was the Lead Civil Designer for
these rail designs and provided a complete civil site design
package for the contractor that included plan, profile, and
proposed layouts and proposed cross sections.
Sanderson Pipe Corporation
Clarksville, TN, 2007 - 2008
Project Manager for a 198,000
square foot manufacturing facility located on a 55-acre site in
the Montgomery County Industrial Park. Mr. Fielder provided a
complete civil site package as part of a design-build project
that included site review, preliminary site layout, site
grading, drainage & erosion control plan, site layout and
staking plan, site utility plan and landscape plan. The project
required maximizing plant and product storage areas within a
site that required discharge of storm water to a detention area
adjacent to an environmentally sensitive wetland. The project
also included a rail spur for the purpose of delivering
production materials directly from rail cars and into the plant.
Rossview
Elementary School
Clarksville, TN, 2008
Civil
Designer for a 103,083 S.F. new Elementary School and Softball
Field. This project also included the design and placement of
parking areas, site grading, drainage and utilities to
accommodate the site. Provided a complete civil site design
package for the contractor that included a site layout, site
grading, drainage and erosion control plan, and site utility
plan.
West Creek School Complex
Clarksville, TN 2005 - 2009
The
Complex included West Creek High School, West Creek Middle
School, West Creek Elementary School, West Creek School Complex
Bus Depot and West Creek Coyote Trail Roadway Design. This
project consisted of the placement of 100,908.00 S.F. Elementary
School building, 101,427.00 S.F. Middle School building and
260,185.00 S.F. High School building and 0.77 miles of roadway
on a 112 acre site. This project included the placement and
design of parking areas for each school as well as athletic
fields for the high school. This included a 300 meter track,
field events, baseball field, softball field, tennis courts,
soccer field and football field. The school complex also
included bus depot that will accommodate 100 school buses. Mr.
Fielder was the Lead Civil Designer for this School Complex
Design and provided a complete civil site design package for the
contractor that included a site layout, site grading, drainage
and erosion control plan, site utility plan, and landscape plan.
Colleges/ Universities -2007-2009
Austin Peay State University &
University of Tennessee at Martin
Civil Designer for the following projects located on the Austin
Peay State University Campus: Chemical Engineering Technology
Facility, Fort. Campbell Classroom Center and APSU Outdoor Pool.
The Chemical Engineering Technology Facility included demolition
of an existing parking lot area and adding a 13,441.00 S.F.
building to the site. This project included site grading,
drainage and utilities to accommodate the site.
The Fort Campbell Classroom Center included placement of an
8,937.00 S.F. building on 1.16 acre site by abiding by the
Unified Facility Code Manual, Antiterrorism Force Protection
Guideline and the AEC standards. It also included site
demolition, site grading, drainage and utilities to accommodate
the site.
The APSU Outdoor Pool included design and placement of a 68.0 ft
x 77.0 ft pool with bathrooms and a pump house building on site.
It also included site demolition, site grading, drainage and
utilities to accommodate the site.
At the University of Tennessee at Martin, the Recreation and
Wellness Facility included placement of 72,949.00 S.F. building
and parking lot areas on a 10.5 acre site. This project included
site demolition, site grading, drainage and utilities to
accommodate the site.
Other Commercial and Industrial
Sites 2002-2009
Wyatt Johnson Mazda, Mathews Nissan,
Hilton Garden Inn, Comfort Suites Inn, Pizza Huts (4), Sonic
Restaurant (4), Dairy Queen, Remax Northstar, Fort Campbell
Federal Credit Union Parking Expansion, Fre Resources, Civitan
Park Ball Field Renovations, Woodlawn Park Renovations, Daycares
(5), Hamilton-Young Medical Office Building and Clarksville
Professional Park Lot 2 Medical Office Building. Mr. Fielder has
Managed and Designed numerous other commercial and industrial
projects.
All of the above projects include staking plans, utility plans,
grading plans, demolition plans and landscape plans. Each
project was taken through the appropriate approval process for
permitting of the project. This is to include but not limited to
regional planning commission, local utility district, state fire
marshal, local street or highway department, city and/or county
building and codes department, groundwater protection and state
highway department.
