Mr. Goodman has extensive experience in water
system design and modeling. His experience includes using
Microstation and Geopak design software and WaterCAD modeling
software. His work experience also includes surveying,
commercial site design, roadway design, and municipal design.
Prior to working with DBS & Associates, Mr. Goodman
worked at Farris, McIntosh, Tremper & Associates in Paducah,
Kentucky, and L.I. Smith & Associates in Paris, Tennessee.
These jobs provided valuable experience in survey field work.
His experience was expanded even further in Paris, where he
completed route surveys for TDOT, designed site and grading
plans for commercial and private use, and designed subdivisions
as per client specifications.

Northeast/Hazelwood Sewer Study
Clarksville Gas & Water, 2008 Civil Designer for the study of
the Northeast/Hazelwood Sewer Basin. Created sewer models on the existing
system to determine problem areas. Created sewer models of proposed
modifications and provided detailed analysis.

Civil Designer for the complex
at Fort Campbell, KY. Performed road design, grading, drainage, erosion
control, and utility design on approximately 90 acres with multiple building
structures.
Support Brigade Barracks Complex

grading, drainage, erosion control, and utility design on
approximately 10 acres with multiple building structures.
Spring Creek Gravity, Lift Station, and Forcemain
Clarksville Gas & Water, 2007
Civil Designer
on 4700 feet of gravity sewer, 4300 feet of forcemain, and a
1500 gpm lift station project in Clarksville, Tennessee. Created
sewer models of the proposed design and provided detailed
analysis. This project involved the study of the existing
conditions and capacities, future sewage flows due to growth,
and recommendations for future upgrades and designs. Assisted
in the planning and plans preparation of the project route and
easement acquisition.
Industrial
Park Sewer Force Main Study & Design (Phases 1-3)
Clarksville Gas & Water, 2005 - 2007
Civil Designer for the study of approximately 5
miles of the Industrial Park Sewer Force Main in Clarksville,
Tennessee. This project involved the study of the existing
conditions and capacities, future sewage flows due to growth,
and recommendations for future upgrades and designs. The new
force main was designed, which included the project route,
capacity analysis, and easement acquisition.

Boy Scout Road Waterline
Clarksville Gas & Water, 2005
Civil
Designer on a water transmission line in Clarksville,
Tennessee. Performed water system analysis and plans
preparation on approximately 5500 feet of 16-inch water line and
associated appurtenances.
Jo Byrns
Elementary School
Rufus Johnson & Associates and Robertson County School System
Civil Designer for the Jo Byrns Elementary School
in Adams, Tennessee. Provided a complete civil site design
package for the owner, which included a site layout, site
grading, drainage and erosion control plan, and site utility
plan.
Ringgold Action Plan
Clarksville Gas & Water, 2005
Civil Designer
on the study of the Ringgold Sewer Manifold in Clarksville,
Tennessee. This project involved the study of the conditions,
capacities, and proposed corrective measures for the Ringgold
Basin Area, which is comprised of approximately 10 miles of
sewer force main and over 40 sewer lift stations. Provided
detailed report and analysis, with recommended improvements.

Group/160th Special Forces Barracks Complex
Fort Campbell, Kentucky, 2004
Civil Designer for the new Barracks facility on
the military installation in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Provided
a complete civil site design package for the contractor and the
Corps of Engineers, which included a site layout, site grading,
drainage and erosion control plan, and site utility plan.
CSG Barrracks
Complex - 5th Group/ 160th Special Forces Barracks Complex
Fort Campbell, Kentucky, 2003 - 2006
Erosion Control Specialist for the contractor for
two barracks facilities on the military installation in Fort
Campbell, Kentucky. Attend monthly site reviews with the Corps
of Engineers and Base Environmental Personnel, assist contractor
with environmental compliance issues, and provide technical
assistance to fix erosion control problems.
State Route 65 Robertson County
TDOT Survey, 2004
Survey Manager for the survey of State Route 65 from Walling
Road to State Route 11. Project included 2.2 miles of urban
roadway with thirteen sideroads and 37 tracts. Project required
location of all existing utilities, drainage structures, and
property boundaries.
TDOT County Bridge Surveys
Sumner & Macon County
TDOT Bridge Enhancement Program, 2004
Survey Manger for three county bridge surveys in Macon and
Sumner Counties. Projects consisted of surveying the bridges and
approaches for bridge replacement. Project required location of
all existing utilities, drainage structures, and property
boundaries. Extensive surveying was required to do floodplain
analysis for each bridge, including stream profiles, stream
cross-sections, and floodplain cross-sections.
State Route 112
Montgomery County, TDOT, 2004
Civil Designer for the Right-of-Way plans of 3.474 miles of
urban arterial roadway in eastern Montgomery County. This
project involved the upgrade of an existing roadway, the scope
of which required grading, paving, draining, signing, and
striping.
Tulip Poplar Drive
City of Gallatin, 2004
Civil Designer for the construction plans of 2500 feet of urban
collector roadway in Gallatin, Tennessee. This project involved
the design of a new curb and gutter roadway, the scope of which
required grading, paving, draining, signing, and striping.
