Miss Ladd is a recent graduate of The University of Tennessee-Martin. She has recently joined the Transportation Department to assist in transportation design and modeling. Prior to joining the Transportation Department full-time, Miss Ladd’s interned for two summers at DBS, which consisted of working as a field engineer and training in the Municipal Department. While working in the Municipal Department, Miss Ladd was able to gain knowledge in using both Microstation and Terramodel.

Hemlock Semiconductor Rail Extension
Clarksville, TN 2009

Transportation Designer for survey and design of 4.33 miles of new railroad track to serve Hemlock Semiconductor, LLC production facility in the Montgomery County Commerce Park Megasite. Rail spur was designed according to the requirements of RJ Corman Railroad and AREMA standards. Design included two at-grade rail crossings with signalization and signing on State Route 13 (U.S. 79) and Jim Johnson Road, siding track, rail yard, seven switches, security access road, storm drainage and erosion control protection.


Lee Park Community Center,
Clarksville, TN 2009

Assisted with the grading, detention, water quality, storm sewer design, water and sewer system design, utility layout, and permitting for a new Community Center. This project consisted of a 6000 ft2 of building on 2.5 acres.
